We’ve absolutely loved our experience with We Rock the Spectrum! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure families and partners have a great experience. Lyla is amazing to work with. She is organized, responsive, and makes everything easy and fun.
We had such a great time collaborating with the We Rock the Spectrum team on their Trunk or Trick event. It was clear how much they care about building a fun and connected community!

Today I had 2 experiences I have never had as a parent.
My kids had a blast today. Outtings can be stressful with a 1.5 and 4.5 year old. My son has autism and he’s also nonverbal. He works hard to communicate and has worked hard for the words he does have. One of the ladies at the gym came and said hi to my kiddos. As I was encouraging my son to say hello, she was beaming at him and once he got his greeting out she said something along the lines of “I’m so glad you’re here! You have a beautiful voice.” Many people don’t know how to respond to a child who can’t speak or is different. I don’t know if I responded in that moment but when she walked away and I processed what she said- it was the kindest words I’ve ever heard spoken to my son by a stranger. That simple sentence acknowledged something that most people take for granted. Thank you- you have no idea how much that moment meant to me.
When it was time to go, my son was upset. We got to our stuff but there was lots of loud tears and a few attempts to bite me. These are the moments that make going out so tough. As I was trying to get my sons shoes on and keep everyone calm (if you know, you know) I felt someone sit next to me on the floor and when I looked at her it was another woman who worked there. She pointed at my daughter’s boots and my daughter sat in her lap and she put her shoes on for me so I could focus on getting my son’s shoes on. Those tough moments in public can be some of the most isolating moments. This was the first time I’ve ever had kindness or help in a moment like that. Thank you for making me feel like we mattered and I wasn’t alone.
Thank you for today. For kindness. And for creating such a special environment.

This is truly terrific place if you have neurodivergent kids! I have 15yo, 7yo, & 5yo.
They are extremely welcoming with very friendly space filled with kindness. In a world where that is a slogan, they really take it serious here. I felt so much relief where my kids could relax and play. Even my 15yo enjoyed just hanging out with her audio book in a swing while my little guys got some much needed play time.
There’s even a little store where the kids can buy fidgets and sensory friendly toys.
They also hold birthdays.
Great sense of community too.
Photos only taken with permission at promotional events, which I GREATLY appreciate. Photos are accurate on website.
